Meet the Creator
Hi, I'm Mia — the creator of The Behaviour Playbook.
I've worked in education for over 15 years across a range of mainstream, specialist and international settings, supporting children, families and staff to find calmer, more consistent ways through difficult moments.
Adults want practical strategies they can use immediately—
not lengthy theory or complicated behaviour systems.
Every resource is informed by both strategic support and real classroom experience.
Strategic Support
Behaviour Advisor, working across schools on behaviour, regulation and relational practice.
Classroom Practice
Teaching part-time within a resourced provision, alongside children at risk of suspension or exclusion.
My experience includes teaching, working as a SENCo, and currently working as a Behaviour Advisor, supporting schools with behaviour, regulation and relational practice.
Alongside this role, I also teach part-time within a resourced provision, working directly with children who are at risk of suspension or exclusion. Balancing strategic support with day-to-day classroom practice is central to The Behaviour Playbook, and helps keep every resource practical, realistic and grounded in real school life.
Over the years, I've worked closely with teachers, teaching assistants, senior leadership teams, parents and external agencies to help create calmer, safer and more consistent approaches to behaviour support.
That inspired me to create The Behaviour Playbook — built to bridge the gap between behaviour theory and the reality of everyday classrooms, providing clear, practical guidance that adults can use with confidence in real moments.
Everything within The Behaviour Playbook is designed to be
Practical
Relational
Easy to use
Calm & consistent
Grounded in real classrooms
Always evolving
The Behaviour Playbook is continually growing, with new toolkits, playbooks, free resources and curated support materials being added regularly as the collection develops.
I’d love to hear from you
I genuinely value feedback, reflections and ideas from the people using these resources in real classrooms every day. If you have suggestions, feedback or ideas for future resources, I'd love to hear from you.
